Here are the video documentaries produced by me as part of my MA in London, United Kingdom
Whose Life Is It Anyway?
This documentary tries to highlight the predicament of terminally ill patients in the UK who suffer not only from their sickness but also as a result of laws on assisted suicide and euthanasia imposed by British legislation. The film examines how only the wealthy have the opportunity to travel abroad for their desired death and how their suffering has been exacerbated by logistical difficulties, the threat of legal action, religious obligations, and consent-related concerns.
Despite the overwhelming public support for legalising assisted suicide, the current legislation prevents terminally ill patients from dying in a manner of their choosing. Watch the painful stories of the terminally ill people of the UK and their justifications for demanding a change in the legislation.
The Show Must Go On...
This feature documentary tells the story of a ‘sleeping beauty' - Streatham Hill theatre, located in South London. From being hit by a flying bomb during World War II to the dwindling theatre culture, this majestic structure is now fighting for its survival. This film will look into the history of the theatre, its importance and the challenges faced by campaigners to save it.
